PCU Convocation Ceremony — General Information

Welcome to the Pimpri Chinchwad University Convocation Ceremony.

Follow instructions from coordinators, maintain decorum, and enjoy the celebrations responsibly.

General Information for Graduates & Guests

Please read carefully to ensure a smooth and organized convocation experience.

Arrival & Assembly

Graduating students must report to PCU Campus by 2:00 PM for verification and assembly.
Carry your student ID or government ID for verification purposes.
Register at the designated registration counters for your program.
Parents and guests should arrive on time; entry may be restricted after the ceremony starts.

Academic Dress & Degree Distribution

Gowns and Uttriyas will be issued only after registration and verification.
Handle your Uttriya with care and return it at the allotted counter after the ceremony.
Degree certificates will be distributed on stage or at designated counters, as announced.
Stand and repeat the degree pledge/oath when administered.

Conduct & Photography

Maintain decorum and silence during the ceremony.
Professional photographers will cover the event; personal photography on stage may be restricted.
Students must follow instructions from faculty coordinators and volunteers.
Stand during the academic procession and national anthem.

Logistics & Parking

Follow parking signage and instructions of security staff.
Use only designated parking areas for vehicles.
Shuttle/escort arrangements, if provided, should be followed.
Helpdesks are available for registration, gown distribution, and certificate assistance.

Items to Avoid Bringing

Large bags or luggage.
Food items or water bottles (if restricted by security).
Helium balloons, placards, hooters, or celebration sprays.
Unauthorized camera or recording equipment.
Children below 12 years are advised not to enter the formal ceremony area.

Celebration & Memories

Official photographers will take group and individual photos.
After the ceremony, students may tour the campus and capture memories with friends and faculty.
Maintain dignity and punctuality throughout the ceremony.
